Steve Coghlan, State Manager WA from Consult Australia recently announced that Brad Harris from Porter Consulting Engineers had been appointed to the WA Executive Committee. This change was made following the retirement of Life Member, David Porter who had been a committee member of Consult Australia (formerly ACEA) for the past 20 years including presiding in roles such as Chairman and Treasurer during that period.
Brad completed his engineering studies at the University of Western Australia completing a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering with Honours. Brad is also an active member of the Institute of Public Works Engineers Australia, having previously been a member of their Executive Committee. Brad became the Managing Director of Porter Consulting Engineers following David’s retirement in July 2016.
The WA Committee represents firms who provide consulting engineering services mainly for infrastructure, resources and community construction projects. Brad has significant experience in the delivery of such projects and will provide his valuable knowledge, skills and advice to the committee.
