Doug Eames – 10years service to PCE

Today, we acknowledge our first significant milestone in 2022; Doug Eames, our Senior Civil Designer Officer is celebrating 10 years with Porter Consulting Engineers.

Doug joined Porters as a Civil Designer in January 2012 and is a key team member providing concept, preliminary and detailed design of roads, subdivisions, carparks and other infrastructure.

During his decade with Porters, Doug has worked on hundreds of designs for civil works related to subdivisions, roads, carparks, shared paths and other infrastructure throughout metropolitan and regional Western Australia.   Notable projects include the award winning 159 lot Northlink Industrial Subdivision in Wangara, the Jurien East Road upgrade in Dandaragan, various BP service stations across the metro area including the earthworks and hardstand designs for the largest truck stop and fuel centre in the State, BP Muchea.

Doug has become the “go to” designer in relation to rural road and drainage design for our regional and remote Local Government clients having undertaken numerous projects for Boddington, Dandaragan, Gingin, Kulin, Margaret River and Wyndham-East Kimberley shires, the Town of Port Hedland and Cities of Geraldton and Karratha.

Congratulations Doug and thank you for all your hard work and dedication to the business over the past 10 years! As a talented guitarist in an Angels’ cover band, we know you are simply passing the time with us until you get the call up to stage when The Angels’ bass guitarist is unwell.  In the meantime keep on rocking with PCE.
